HOMKA began with a simple story: that of two childhood friends, Paul and Théo, who have known each other since nursery school and always wanted to build something together.
Originally from Meslay-du-Maine, they grew up with a shared ambition: to start a business, to create, to learn and to build something that reflects who they are. After a formative first entrepreneurial venture in 2017, their wish to move forward together never left them.
The real turning point came in January 2022, when Paul sketched out the first lines of what would become HOMKA. A project fuelled by their attachment to the Pays du Mont-Blanc, where they have been coming for many years, and by their desire to change their lives and put down roots in a demanding, inspiring tourist destination.
In November 2024, a first owner placed their trust in them. In December, they welcomed their first guests. On 6 January 2025, HOMKA was officially born.
